International Drive Trolley

International Drive Trolley, also known as the I-RIDE Trolley, is an elite, reasonable and the most expedient mode of transport to reach the several thrilling destinations in the International Drive Resort Area. I-drive is an outstanding place to spend quality time with family and friends as several tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels, theme parks and other commercial complexes in this region compete with each other to vie for your attention. The complete drive wraps a distance of 14.5 miles and is partially in Orlando and partially in Orange County. Recently, the stretch has been expanded to Osceola County. By taking a ride on the International Drive Trolley, you can move around the stretch with ease. However, planning your move to match the trolley timings (from 8.00 am to 10.30 pm) would help. The trolley services of International Drive in Orlando allow the tourists to sit back and take pleasure viewing the pleasant scenery all around, with easy up and down drive around the region. This mode of transport is also cost effective as it takes off the unnecessary worry of parking and lets the visitors enjoy their vacation in style. These trolleys have two routes namely the Red Line Trolley and the Green Line, from which you can take your pick based on the destination that you want to visit. While the former can help you reach Prime Outlets Orlando, the Sea World and the Orlando Premium Outlets located on the southern part of the corridor, the latter can come handy when you wish to travel from Major Boulevard business district, or want to take a ride along the Universal Boulevard. The Green Line route follows that of its Red Line counterpart on South International Drive. Each of the trolleys accommodates 41 riders, the total capacity being fifty four. Provision for two wheelchairs is also present in the drive trolley and there is a special ADA- specific hydraulic lift system. Moreover, the trolley service consists of 15 replica trolleys that are climate controlled and come fitted with rubber tires. The cash fare of the trolley service is extremely economical. The single fare per person is $1.25 and for senior citizens, the fare is $0.25 per ride. Kids aged below twelve years can ride for free provided they are accompanied by a paying adult. Passengers are advised to carry enough change with them as exact change is required and the drivers don’t carry cash. Unlimited ride passes are also available for tourists who wish to ride the trolleys for more than once. The rates of the unlimited ride passes vary depending on the number of days for which the passes are purchased. These passes are not sold on the trolleys. They are available at over hundred locations within the International Drive Resort region including the I-RIDE sales office. So, without wasting any more time, head straight towards International Drive and enjoy these rides to the fullest. Click Here for the I - Ride Trolley Official Website.
